Make Ceramic Sandplay Figurines
1‑Day Workshop for Sandplay Therapists
Learn ceramic hand‑building techniques and create your own sandplay figurines. All pieces will be kiln‑fired and ready to collect and add to your collection one month after the workshop.

Facilitator
Jules Booth is a sandplay therapist and ceramic artist who enjoys crafting her own ceramic sandplay figurines. She has created many pieces for her collection, ranging from river, wave, and flame tiles to tiny houses and buildings, imaginary creatures, and soulful figures. In this one-day workshop, she will share the processes she uses to make these figurines and support you in creating your own.
Workshop outline
Morning: Learning skills
Working with slabs (rivers, flames, waves, pathways etc…)
Carving from the block (little houses and buildings etc…)
Pinch pot and coil techniques (the beginning shapes for animals and figures etc…)
Afternoon: Putting skills into action, make your own figurines
Use the skills learned in the morning session to create your own ceramic sandplay figurines.
Pottery collection:
All pieces will be kiln‑fired and ready to collect from Wentworth Falls one month after the workshop. Pieces can also be posted for the additional fee of the postage rate.
